Assassination Classroom (Japanese: 暗殺教室 Hepburn: Ansatsu Kyōshitsu) is a science-fiction manga series written and illustrated by Yūsei Matsui. The series follows the daily lives of an extremely powerful octopus-like teacher and his cohort of "misfits" in class E-3. The students of E-3 have been assigned the task of assassinating their 'Koro-Sensei', meaning 'Unkillable Teacher", before time runs out and he destroys Earth.
