Tonci Zonjic is a Croatian comic book artist and illustrator, called "the master of cinematic comics" by some, and "the guy with the unpronounceable name" by others. Starting out as an illustrator at age 15, he got into comics by creating a fanzine Pipci! (Tentacles!) in 2004, then working on several projects with Darko Macan. In 2006, he got his start in the US publishing market on Marvel's The Immortal Iron Fist, but was really noticed soon afterwards as "the guy who made the controversial Marvel Divas actually not a sexist comic". He has since worked on many projects, including writing and drawing short stories for the Popgun anthology and Mike Allred's Madman comics. Recent work includes the much-acclaimed Lobster Johnson: The Burning Hand with John Arcudi, and his most known work is the Eisner-award nominated Who Is Jake Ellis?, with Nathan Edmondson, and its sequel Where Is Jake Ellis? He lives in Toronto, Canada with his wife and cat.
