Audra has lived and worked in the United States, England, and New Zealand. She's a beach bum at heart, but loves fresh mountain air and a nighttime fire in the autumn. She's a dog lover and horse lover. The Spicer family has a deep, rich tradition of racehorse training and competition, and Audra enjoys being a responsible Standardbred owner in the harness racing industry. Audra has a doctorate in English and a couple of Master's degrees in writing and interpreting, but her education in fiction craft happened outside of university.
