Awan Wafdan is a Malaysian writer who's making a name for himself in the literary world. Born and raised in Semporna, Sabah, Awan's passion for writing began at a young age. He attended SK Sulabayan, SMK Kabogan, and SMK SANZAC in Kota Kinabalu before continuing his studies at SMK Bugaya in Semporna, where he pursued his STPM. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in History and Malay Language Studies from University Sains Malaysia. Awan's love for storytelling has now blossomed into a full-blown career, and he's currently working on an exciting series of fiction novels inspired by Malay mythology and history. His debut fantasy novel, Hikayat Adiwangsa, published by Mahakarya, Patriots Asia, hit the shelves in 2021 and has received rave reviews from critics and readers alike.
