Dave and Jesse are doing well together, sharing their lives, sharing a home, healing and loving each other. Then Dave has to take responsibility for his niece over the summer. The two men struggle with how to hide their relationship, take care of a child, and make sure the other man knows he's loved.

When Dave decides to absent himself from the situation, it affects both of them in different ways—and each man more than he'd like. They'll all learn something this summer.
