He once said that he loves me. Now he always shows that he hates me. Adam Collins was once supposed to be the boy I’d love forever. But then he got mean just before high school. So mean, in fact, that he would have me in tears wherever and whenever we crossed paths. I’ve tried to ignore him. I’ve tried to understand him. Now, I’m going to try and fight back. Because the thing about Adam is that no matter how cruel he is, no matter how angry he gets, I can’t stop thinking of him.
