Álvaro Martínez, natural de Cantabria, obtuvo el título de Licenciado en Bellas Artes en la Universidad de Salamanca en 2004. Trabajó realizando storyboards para publicidad y películas, además de otros trabajos como ilustrador comercial. Con mucha pasión y talento, poco a poco empezó a dibujar cómics profesionalmente, llegando a publicar sus primeras páginas en la serie Harbinger (Valiant). Posteriormente comenzó a trabajar para Marvel Comics, en títulos como Iron Man, Ultimate Comics: X-Men o Cataclysm: Ultimate X-Men. Tras estas primeras experiencias al otro lado del Atlántico, Álvaro recaló en su hogar desde hace unos años, DC Comics. Entre sus primeros trabajos para DC encontramos algunos números de Aquaman, Grayson, La Guerra de los Robin o Jóvenes Titanes, además de la miniserie Convergence: Booster Gold (publicada en España como parte del volumen Liga de la Justicia Converge en Crisis en Tierras Infinitas). Álvaro ha trabajado principalmente en la familia de cómics relacionados con Batman, desde la mencionada Grayson a Batman Eterno y su secuela, Batman y Robin Eternos. Destaca especialmente su aplaudida etapa en Batman: Detective Comics, en colaboración con el guionista James Tynion IV, su inseparable entintador Raül Fernández y el colorista Brad Anderson. En la actualidad, Álvaro está trabajando de nuevo junto a James, Raül y Brad en la nueva versión de la Liga de la Justicia Oscura, una de las colecciones de DC más aclamadas por crítica y público.

Peter J. Tomasi is an American comic book writer, best known for his work for DC Comics, such as Batman And Robin; Superman; Super Sons; Batman: Detective Comics; Green Lantern Corps; and Superman/Wonder Woman; as well as Batman: Arkham Knight; Brightest Day; Green Lantern: Emerald Warriors; Nightwing; Black Adam, and many more. In the course of his staff career at DC Comics, Tomasi served as a group editor and ushered in new eras for Batman, Green Lantern, and the JSA, along with a host of special projects like Kingdom Come. He is also the author of the creator-owned titles House Of Penance with artist Ian Bertram; Light Brigade with artist Peter Snejbjerg; The Mighty with Keith Champagne and Chris Samnee; and the critically acclaimed epic graphic novel The Bridge: How The Roeblings Connected Brooklyn To New York, illustrated by Sara DuVall and published by Abrams ComicArts. In 2018 New York Times best-selling author Tomasi received the Inkpot Award for achievement in comics.

Mariko Tamaki is a Toronto writer, playwright, activist and performer. She works and performs with fat activists Pretty Porky and Pissed Off and the theatre troupe TOA, whose recent play, A vs. B, was staged at the 2004 Rhubarb Festival at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. Her well-received novel, Cover Me (McGilligan Books) was followed by a short fiction collection, True Lies: The Book of Bad Advice (Women's Press). Mariko's third book, FAKE ID, is due out in spring 2005. Mariko Tamaki has performed her work across Canada and through the States, recently appearing at the Calgary Folkfest 2004, Vancouver Writer's Festival 2003, Spatial III, and the Perpetual Motion/Girls Bite Back Tour, which circled though Ottawa, Montreal, Brooklyn and Chicago. She has appeared widely on radio and television including First Person Singular on CBC radio and Imprint on TVO. Bryan Hill is a screenwriter, photographer, tv writer, and director. He is known for his work on the DC show TITANS and for his work in comics, most notably his outings on DETECTIVE COMICS, POSTAL, AMERICAN CARNAGE, KILLMONGER and ANGEL. His writing is infused with esoteric principles, which can also be found in his photography and music. He lives and works in Los Angeles.
