Making a Name is a short story by Jason Schmetzer published exclusively in the third BattleCorps print anthology, Weapons Free. Unlike all other stories in the book, it has not been published online via BattleCorps. The story resolves a hitherto unresolved mystery, depicting what exactly happened when John Waco was killed by BattleMechs from Wolf's Dragoons' Zeta Battalion.
