Kari Holloway is an American writer who grew up in Leesburg, Georgia. She dabbles in southern romances filled with iconic components of sexy cowboys and firefighters, explored the unexplained in her paranormal series, found her way to the battlefields of the Civil War, and to love's first kiss under the weeping willow through various anthologies. Unsure of what her future holds, Kari enjoys writing what captures her attention in the evenings. Gerri Leen was born in Ohio, lived most of her younger life in and around Seattle and Belfair, Washington, and has spent the last twenty odd years in Northern Virginia. She dabbled with writing when younger, but started writing steadily in her forties, and her first publications came in the Star Trek Strange New World books (volumes seven, nine, and ten)—her story “The Smell of Dead Roses” took the grand prize in the tenth and final volume. She has since had stories appear in a diverse range of publications, both anthologies and magazines (print and web). She primarily focuses on science fiction and fantasy themes, but has occasionally moved over to literary and poetry. She points to Connie Willis, Kevin Smith, Doug Coupland, Ron Moore, and Quentin Tarantino as professional idols. Her favorite places in the world are Port Townsend, Washington; Vail, Colorado; Palm Desert, California; Venice, Italy; and just about anywhere in Guatemala. Still in the budding stage of my authorship, I may not have a whole plethora of work to offer you in book format, but I do have a variety of writings published in corners of the internet. For instance, though my primary focus in writing is not spiritual/devotional in nature, I have carved out quite a little corner of devotional material over at Eternal Haunted Summer, a quarterly pagan ezine. Upcoming projects including my work are Garland of the Goddess and The Dark Ones. As I said I'm not primarily a devotional or spiritual writer, but you've got to get your start in somewhere, right?
