He says it was foretold, an inescapable way to bring them together. All Laurell Pittman knows is that ungovernable need surges through her body whenever Axiom is near. Who is this godlike stranger who appears out of nowhere to steal her away from home? She ought to be terrified. Instead, his kiss awakens unimaginable feelings, sensations of invisible hands stroking her body, a longing she can't deny. If she believes his claims - and in his arms how can she not? - she is destined to conceive a very special child...and he is the appointed father. As he fights off demons trying to prevent the child's birth and patiently teaches her how to use her own undiscovered powers, she finds her heart going out to this Balancer who is equally at home with good and evil, teetering on the edge of temptation, eternally caught...Between Light and Dark.

Elissa Wilds is an award-winning author of....blah, blah, blah...Okay, I just can't write about myself in third person. It's too darn serious, and I recommend avoiding taking yourself too seriously. I'll begin again. I write paranormal romantic fiction and metaphysical/new age non-fiction. I enjoy investigating all things paranormal and incorporating what I learn into my stories. I hold Bachelor degrees in Communication and English/Creative Writing and a Master's degree in Communication. What you should know about my writing: I tend to see the world a bit differently and my stories reflect it. I love unique stories and unusual worlds that may not necessarily fit easily into one particular genre. The good news is, if you, too, dance to a different drum and hum a different tune, you may enjoy my stories. I hope you will, but I know that reading (and writing for that matter) are deeply personal experiences. I'm often asked what I like most about writing. There are too many to list, but here's one of the top 5: I can write my stories sitting in my pajamas in the middle of the night or at a coffee shop on Sunday afternoon while sipping chai tea latte. In addition to writing, I enjoy singing, reading, learning to play guitar, meditating, spending time with my family, and playing in nature as much and as often as possible. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT MY REVIEWS: While I have deep appreciation for the time, effort, and sheer fortitude that goes into writing reviews for works you love, hate, and/or feel rather "blah" about, I personally only rate books I've liked a lot or loved. So, you won't see 1, 2, or even 3 star reviews on my page. The flip side is, I share with you only those books I've actually read, found delightful, and am passionate enough about to share with you. Enough said, yes? Rockin' reading (to my fellow avid readers) and colossal creating (to all you writer-type peeps out there)! May your bookshelves be ever over-flowing, and may you always have a good book close at hand.
