William wasn’t a normal alpha shifter. In fact, he wasn’t a normal shifter at all. He could spontaneously shift into almost any bird, animal, or fish on a whim. And though it was a source of stress to his parents when he was a child, as an adult, he’s learned to work his gift to his advantage. But that didn’t mean he had all the answers. The answers he was still searching for could only be found in The Lab that created him so many years ago.

Daxton figured out he was different for a while. He didn't understand how or why until he met Willy. The only other person in the world just like him.
