Blake spent her upbringing in a small town in Minnesota. Her love for writing was developed early and her love of reading was encouraged by her mother who is a third generation bookworm herself. After years of heavily traveling France and other European countries, Blake returned to the USA to establish herself and her business in the Food & Wine Photography business. Her debut novel "The Chemist's Daughter" is the first book of "The Emerald Network" series. Book Two " The Smuggler's Son" is set to release in early 2025. Blake currently lives in Reno Nevada for half of her year, splitting her other half with her family-in-law, in the South of France where she continues her studies in French viniculture, language and cuisine.
