For Blake Michael Thulin, the topic of abortion started as the basis of a law school research paper. The more he dug into the topic, the more he realized the value of an unbiased, factual guide to America’s most fiery debate. Thulin’s discoveries uncover a multitude of historical and contemporary perspectives regarding a woman’s right to give birth or not. Thulin’s BS in Business Administration from CSU Bakersfield and JD from the Santa Barbara College of Law showed him the importance of credible citations and impartial evidence. With these tools, he turned his research paper into a detailed guide about abortion from a legal, medical, and moral position. His debut book, Abortion Division, doesn’t just help the reader to better understand the topic, it offers tips on how to debate their beliefs effectively and confidently. Thulin is a 10-year resident of California’s Central Coast. When not writing, he spends his free time training in mixed martial arts, collecting trading cards and, of course, reading as much non-fiction as possible.
