The daughter of a military father, Catherine was born in Germany and lived most of the first 14 years of her life abroad. She spent her school years devouring everything her school library had to offer! Her favourites were romance and mysteries. Her love for the Nancy Drew books led Catherine to check out every mystery story she could find. She soon found Agatha Christie who quickly became Catherine's favourite author. Catherine writes cosy mysteries that take place in the English countryside. Her extremely popular Tommy & Evelyn Christie mysteries are set in 1920s North Yorkshire. Her new series, the Martha Miller cosy mysteries, are set in the years following the Second World War in Berkshire. Catherine lives in northeast England with her two spoiled dogs who have no idea they are not human! You can connect with Catherine on her website - www.catherinecoles.com

I write as Suzanna Ross and as Suzanne Ross Jones - there is a story behind this, but there's probably not enough room to go into it here. My romances are sweet and modern. Trust In Me has been published by DC Thomson as a Pocket Novel and is available for download from Amazon now. It will be published as a large print book from the summer of 2013. Hidden Heartache was published by DC Thomson as a My Weekly Pocket Novel in January 2013 and is now available as an e-book. Sean McIver's Return will be published by DC Thomson as a People's Friend Pocket Novel in April 2013. A number of my short stories have been published in women’s magazines in the UK and in Australia. And a collection of some of these stories - The Baby of the Family & Other stories - was recently published and is available for Kindle.

Tara Pammi can't remember a moment when she wasn't lost in a book, especially a romance which, for a teenager, was much more exciting than mathematics textbook. Before long, she was hiding romance novels within bigger textbooks, smuggling them into the home through her unsuspecting younger cousin’s school bag, and cycling more than a few miles to her favorite library to borrow more. Through numerous ‘true’ loves :-) and traveling thousands of miles from family and friends, her attachment to books and especially romance novels stayed constant. One fine day, toiling away as a grad student in a basement lab, Tara started typing the beginning of a story instead of her thesis. But it wasn’t until years later, encouraged by her real life hero, Tara realized what she truly wanted to do was to write. Tara lives in Texas with her real life hero and her two little girls. When she isn't writing or reading, Tara can be found failing in the kitchen, watching TV or making resolutions to exercise more, or even a little.

Romy Sommer is the author of seven contemporary romance novels published by HarperCollins London, and she has also indie-published a further eight books, including "The Beginner's Guide to Writing Romance." Romy was the founder and first Chairperson of ROSA (Romance writers Organisation of South Africa). Through ROSA, she discovered a passion for teaching and mentoring aspiring writers, and, after two decades in film production, became a full-time writing coach and developmental editor. Though Romy's heart lies in Europe, she doesn't cope well with the cold, so she lives in sunny South Africa, in the City of Gold, Johannesburg, where she writes contemporary, feel-good fairy tale romances. She loves binge-watching foreign language Rom Coms on Netflix, travel and musical theatre. Her current obsession is romantic K-dramas.

Jodie James has worked in an old folks home, sold toys in a department store, had a brief job in a chocolate factory, worked as a waitress for a sports centre, and years ago was a feature writer for a now defunct teen magazine. She is eternally grateful the sealed section involving an interview with a to-be-disgraced sex therapist never made it into print. Not surprisingly, she loves reading! She reads romance from Nora Roberts to Jane Porter, suspense from Brad Thor to Joel Rosenberg, inspirational fiction from Robin Lee Hatcher to Francine Rivers, and chick lit from Helen Fielding to Sophie Kinsella. She now writes cosy novels about love, romance and emotion, and is thankful she can now write the kind of books she loves to read. She makes her home with her family – and two guinea-pigs who have taken possession of the back yard.
