Lucie Peachtree is feeling all the Darling Island feels; picnics on the beach, long evenings watching the sun go down, and dipping into the waters of Darling Bay. As she revels in life in the old coastguard’s house, it seems as if everything is going her way, from her romance, to her job, to her small, but busy, business. We watch the love story from the sidelines and swoon in excitement as the biggest moment in Lucie’s life looms. But, just as she’s least expecting it, life decides it might just like to shake things up a little bit for Lucie.
