Everyone knows good girls love bad guys, but what happens when the good girl’s bad herself. Meet Lyric Jones; she’s a gun-toting, fist slanging, spoiled, beautiful girl with ambition to match. At the tender age of nineteen, Lyric married the man who she just knew she would want to spend the rest of her life with. Fast Forward four years into their marriage, and she’s not so sure if she feels as she once did. After a spontaneous night out on the town with a friend, she meets the infamous Block Boys, and from there her entire life changes. The Block Boyz are not to be tried, and have the game on lock, with no plans of letting go anytime soon. Ahmaud Franks, one of their leaders, isn’t one to be messed with. He’s confident, no-nonsense, and in control of his life, except when it comes to matters of the heart. For him, getting women isn’t a problem, but getting one who’s loyal and true deems to be an issue. Although he appears to be a playboy, he’s content with having one thoroughbred on his arm. However, he doesn’t want just any woman. She would have to be one specially made for him. Kelis was once lost until she ran into Mike. Mike was a Block Boy with boss dreams that fell in love with the lost beauty. As Mike’s pockets grew so did his appetite for other women, and Kelis doesn’t know how to handle it. With more money comes big egos, and Mike’s head has grown the size of a hot air balloon which causes him more problems than he’s prepared for. Although he loves women of all shapes, colors, and sizes, there’s only one who has his heart. However, his selfishness is bound to cost him more than just his money. Cuffing a block boy is proving to be one of Lyric and Kelis’ most onerous task. Will the thought of love and loyalty get them through all the lies, lust, and secrets that come with being affiliated with The Block or will it all be too much for either of them to handle? No one ever said cuffing a Block boy would be easy!
