Part of Series

Spellbound bartender and Salem State biology major, Luca Pennington, has recently developed a rather disturbing allergy as a result of volunteering for a medical trial in order to supplement his tuition. It seems spending even a second or two in the sunlight causes his skin to blister and burn as if he were being exposed to an open flame. Then there’s this pesky need for AB negative that has him breaking into the school’s medical department late at night to satisfy his odd craving. Salem Chief of Police, Cisco Jackson, is dealing with budget cuts the only way he knows how, by working double shifts. Getting a call out to the local university on one of these overnight shifts, he finds a sexy young man drinking blood from a medical lab fridge. Not wanting Luca to continue his thieving ways, he makes the young vampire an offer he can’t refuse: Eat me! When the rookie vampire refuses to feed from the veteran cop in a Meals-On-Wheels-with-benefits exchange, things really start to heat up with Cisco threatening to arrest Luca if he catches him stealing blood again. Luca’s response to the sexy, older cop, “Catch me if you can!” Are Cisco and Luca fated mates? Or is the blood song that calls to them both a Siren’s Song of destruction?
