They did, although the matter has only recently come to light, being recorded among some confidential papers which were temporarily lost to the nation when Jonty Stewart stuck them down the back of a sofa.

Because Charlie Cochrane couldn't be trusted to do any of her jobs of choice—like managing a rugby team—she writes.
