Andrew and Rafael became a couple in “Blue Star Diner” and we left them with Andrew thinking that whatever the future held, they would face it together, hand in hand. Day-to-day living has presented challenges, however. They’ve had their first serious argument, and the misunderstanding feels like a major catastrophe. Hopefully, with a little push from others, the courage to admit mistakes and the magic of the holiday season’s spirit of forgiveness and understanding, they can find their way back to each other before Christmas. “Blue Star Diner Holiday” captures the complexities of love and the importance of communication in relationships. This is a short story.
