Bob finally gets his wish, a chance to make peace with the Squirrels. His friend Natti is appointed Ambassador, and things look bright. Too bad all the Squirrels don’t want peace with Bob.

The crew come back to Earth to have some babies and catch up on some well-deserved R-and-R. Babies attract mother-in-laws, though, and Bob has one for the books. Meeting his stepson evens things out. All too soon, an old friend needs help, along with her new friend from out of town, sending the crew off to the stars.

The crew of the Gene are off to take Joanna’s new friend home. Finding derelicts with no survivors gets them down, and one of them brings Topper to a crisis of conscience. When they find a ship that looks like Zoom built it, Bob hires the builder. Time will tell, if she is as good as Zoom. Then little Roos get the ship hopping. Ride along with Captain Bob, and the crew, as they meet new people, and find new places.

Bob and the crew get the Roos to their new home. It’s not what they expected, and they raise a fuss. Andre has fun, until he finds out how the planet got its name. Then, a Roo explorer finds a whole other set of problems for Bob and the crew. Come along as our heroes try their best to make things come out right.

Sally and the rest of the captains finally get Bob to take that promotion he’s been avoiding. That leaves him with a question, just what is an Admiral supposed to do? Soon enough, the folks back on Earth cause bigger problems. Sit back and enjoy the ride, with Admiral Bob and the rest of the crew.

Bob thought BSR might be able to do some business with Homm and his people. Turns out he was wrong, but their ancestors had left knowledge the company could use. Andre runs into trouble, riding with Rachel, while he’s on leave. By the time he’s back on duty, Rachel has decided to join up with BSR. Her first job is a doozy, though. After the fleet explains the error in their ways, they head out to check on a new planet. A stowaway causes trouble for Topper, but it turns out for the best.

Firestarter does her best to fit in on the Gene, but it’s a long jump from stone-tipped spears to starships. Janet and the other girls do their best to help her fit in. Eve and Aika have trouble getting to know a new AI, and Topper’s past brings a new problem for the crew to work on. Come along while they work it all out.
