Tabitha This whole mess started because a professor doesn’t know how to set up his email. Despite being the foremost expert in philology and morphology, Dr. Patrick Ryan shows up to my online conference as Dr. Ryan Patrick, sitting on a panel, discussing subjects he knows nothing about. If my boss finds out, my career is over. The saving grace? Dr. Wrong does me a solid and pretends to be the guy they expected. Now, I owe him drinks. Doesn’t hurt he’s completely my type. Patrick When I was invited to speak on a virtual panel of world-renown experts, I was thrilled, especially since my research is so new. Small problem, when I join the conference already in session—they're expecting someone else. The beauty running the show steals my attention, and I pretend to be who they think I am. What else could go wrong? Just a tiny scandal that jeopardizes the career I’ve worked so hard for. Booking Dr. Wrong turns out to be the greatest mistake we ever made. Most of these are always written in third person, as if the author isn't the one actually writing them. So, I'm going to be a rule-breaker and write it in first person instead. I'm a native Chicagoan, vegetarian, and lover of big words. I randomly burst out into song, and have been known to carry on entire conversations (with those worthy of the challenge) in song lyrics. The same can also be said for movie quotes. I'm quirky, sarcastic, I've been told at times I can be a bit esoteric, but overall I'd rather be dancing in the rain than waiting for the storm to pass. And I LOVE connecting with people- so go on, hit the "friend" button. :)
