Hello! Thank you for checking out the book! I really appreciate you doing so. My name is Brandon Kristopher Kish, and I am a friendly giant at a height of 6-foot-6. I am always hungry, and never shy away from cooking. A lot of times, despite being an only child, I would eat as if there were three kids at the table. I have had lots of times with my anxiety disorder where I was worried about life. What I was going to do for a career. If I was on the right path. Worrying that I’d be judged. Feeling like I was falling behind. Being told I would not go to university but proving others wrong. Chest tightness, and sweaty palms were common. Holidays felt lonely for me but what I realized is that I could make them into something meaningful for myself. Success takes hard work and comes from believing in myself. However, it also came when I began to be productive instead of thinking about the past. Once I realized that I needed to keep going forward not backward, my life improved. I played many sports growing up including baseball, basketball, hockey, dancing, soccer, football, swimming, badminton, along with doing track and field. They were so much fun because I am a high energy person, with a passion for socializing (which I still have). It is always fun meeting people, talking with others, and just hanging out. Working out continues to be very important to me today. I lift weights and do cardio about five days a week. Cheat days are on the weekends. I love to eat burgers, fries, and doughnuts. Initially, I was going to attend college for broadcasting. But then I decided it was not for me. Feeling lost, I soon had chances to play sports at a higher level. My next goal was to play a sport in university and then try to play professionally. I turned down an offer for junior hockey and settled on a football scholarship. However, I quit during training camp of my first year. That was difficult for me and after I quit, I did not feel an urge to lose the extra weight. Finally, one day, I had enough and decided to change. I lost 70 pounds in the process going from 300 pounds to 230 pounds. Quitting football was important because it showed me that I did not need to plan out my whole life. It constantly changes every day. I wrote this book during my time in university as a 22-year-old. After graduating from York University in Toronto, Canada, in 2022, I am now attending college to become a teacher. I love all the seasons. However, summer is my favorite because I enjoy going to the beach and swimming.
