But change can happen in the blink of an eye. When a greedy property developer sends her a strong-arm email, things start to get complicated and Ariela’s roadmap gets bumpy. Scrabbling to find a solution, she crosses paths with Chanson Roche—a tall, dark, and brooding woman who happens to own the historic bank building across the street. Teaming up with the mysterious (and very attractive) Chanson, Ariela dives headfirst into a campaign to protect the life she’s built, though it may tie the two women together in more ways than one.
