Brian McArthur (1984-) grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona and currently lives with his family in Maine. Since 2011, he has run the Adventure Foundation (http://www.theadventurefoundation.org), a nonprofit organization providing adventure therapy to at-risk adolescents. In 2008, he was awarded the “Embracing Community Literacy Award” by the National Council of La Raza. Brian strives to share his love of the outdoors with young people through real-life adventures and his writing. He is an adventure therapist at the Maine Children's Home.
