
Brian was born in the northeast of England at a time when there was still rationing after the Second World War. He obtained a good education at St Aidan's Grammar School in Sunderland, County Durham. Soon after school, He joined the Royal Air Force in 1967 and stayed for 24 years, completing his service as a Warrant Officer. He then emigrated to Australia in 1991 and retired from public service in 2010. In his retirement, he enjoys digital photography, sketching, and now writing novels. He currently lives in Brisbane with his lovely wife, Ivanka. He recently received a Literary Titan Award for his book "Manifesto for a serial Killer'. He recently received Reader's Favourites awards for "Family Favourites Cookies from Around the World" and "The Lake at Forest lake". He also received a NaNoWriMo crest for writing a book in one month!
