He’s a staid, by-the-book doctor. She’s a free-spirited artist. Together, they share a son. Right out of high school, Shiloh Finn moved to Europe to attend her dream art-school, leaving her son, Quin, for his father to raise. Now, changed by Jesus, she’ll do anything to be part of Quin’s life again. Move back home. Give up painting. Even—dare she say it—risk her heart by spending time with Quin’s father. Michael Stanton, Micha to his friends, thought he’d stopped longing for his son’s mother. But now, Shiloh is back home, invading his well-ordered life with her free spirit and silvery laughter, and filling him with nostalgia for years-gone-by. And, heaven help him, his son has discovered the joys of butterfly kisses and is putting his matchmaking skills to good use—or bad, depending on one’s perspective. On some days, Micha feels a little of both. This contemporary, sweet, clean romance takes you to small-town America, where the river serenades and birdsong fills the air, all the neighbors know each other's business, and the police chief's biggest worry is where to find his next fishing hole.
