C. K. Phillips is a (mostly) retired educator who is an avid reader. After a career of teaching and grading composition, he finally determined to make time to fulfill his creative impulses. COMES THE AWAKENING was his first novel, followed by the second book in the Kent/Lander series: ECHOES OF SKELETONS PAST. Today, June 29, 2017, he released on Amazon the third book in the series: THE SURVIVAL INITIATIVE. Although he implies no comparison to them, he points to Cussler, Baldacci, Brown, and Grisham as some who have inspired him to write. He lives with his wife in Southeast Tennessee.
