She has harbored a love for fantasy, medieval history, horses, and adventure for her entire life. Her first book - Ranger of Kings- was originally written when she was 12. After that, she quickly penned five more in what would become the William of Alamore series. However, it wasn't until another 12 years had past that she would pursue releasing her novels. After rewriting and polishing Ranger of Kings, she released it in March of 2020. It was followed by The Cutthroat Prince in 2021 and the third book in the series, The Fallen Heir in April of 2022. The fifth book in the series, Tyrant of Traitors, is due for release in 2024. Additional works include the prequel she wrote, The Falcon and The Stag and Shadow of the Sword, a shorter novel written in 2022 about Sir Laster of Alamore. When not lost in medieval worlds of her own musing, CJR Isely lives on a small ranch in Kansas with her husband, dogs, cats, horses, and whatever other animals she decides she needs in her life.
