My books are wholesome stories about small-town people searching for something they lost. The search brings decisions they may not wish to make, but good always overcomes evil. I was a technical writer/editor for many years, working on environmental and archaeological reports and documents. Fiction writing opened up a whole new world of writing for me and allowed my imagination freedom to run rampant. I write because the characters are banging around in my head and want to come alive on the pages I write. I believe my gift of storytelling is a gift from God. I will use His gift to show that integrity is the best course of action and that love is the greatest gift of all. I also love to quilt and sew in my home in the Black Hills where I lives with my long-time husband who is usually out hiking or bicycling. My last name is pronounced “care.” I hope that’s what everyone will do. Care about each other.
