Hello, all. This is Chris. I'm a writer, a father, a kids' soccer coach—I wear a whole lot of other hats too. One of the main loves of my life (other than my wife :)) is reading. I was lucky enough to be introduced to good science-fiction and fantasy novels as a child so science-fiction and fantasy have always been my favorite genres. Why those genres? I guess it is because they are totally unrestricted. No limit to where those genres can go, what ideas they can explore, where writers in those genres can take their readers. I currently write mainly Middle-Grade books. It was a fun age (9-14) when I was a kid, and it is fun to write for that age group. It is an age where the kids are old enough to understand so many things, but they are not yet limited mentally by too many hard realities. Anything is still possible. Which is exactly what I like about being a writer. I'm glad to be here on Goodreads. I hope you enjoy my work.
