When not writing novels, essays short stories, screenplays, and poetry he subsists on a steady diet of cookies, music, and the love of a good woman. In and amongst bouts of ecstatic muse, he forages the earth for discarded albuterol inhalers, and occasionally hires himself out as a freelance guide leading wayward souls to the promised land. Well, and that could also describe what he does when he IS writing. Or so we are told.
