Dear Reader: I've been a story teller my entire life. I made up fanfic stories and told them to my friends at sleep overs. That was a while ago. A military brat, I saw a lot of interesting places through the years, but I was always leaving friends and acquaintances behind. The people I made up in my head could go with me everywhere, and I was glad to take them with me. I wrote my first novels back when electric typewriters were the hot thing. I wrote them with a toddler and runabout baby tugging at my levis and demanding my attention. Because the living offspring units needed me more than the virtual people in my head, I put the manuscripts away. For a long time. Then, in 2009, I discovered role playing video games, particularly those from companies like Bioware and Bethesda. I became immersed in the world of Thedas and grew entirely too attached to one character named Nathaniel Howe. I ended up writing a 120,000 plus word fanfic for him and a character I made up. It was my first novel in a very long time. After posting Angharad's story on fanfic - Seer - I started writing down all those other tales that I held in my head for so long. GAMER GIRL is my homage to the thing that opened my creative door, the one I closed so long ago. I write Regency Historical Novels that don't really fit the Regency Novel genre. Yes, they are romance but I hope they are meatier and have more history than your usual Regency Novel. And then I write some that do fit the genre. I also write contemporary romance fiction. But I have at least one horror story in my head, a sci-fi, and one from the Bible. That's the fun of it! I've lived on the East Coast, the West Coast, and in the flyover zone. I've also lived on a couple of islands out in the Pacific. I was graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in social psychology and hold a master's degree in counseling psychology. My main interest in my field was in the area of grief work. That said, I've worked in the legal industry for most of my working career. I am glad to say that due to the intelligent mate choices of my offspring, I am now a member of a large and loving extended family. I hope you will enjoy my stories. That's what a story teller lives for, to have someone else share the world he or she creates and find it interesting.
