My writing is informed by my fascination with the past. For nearly fourteen years, I worked as an antiques cataloguer and appraiser at a busy auction house, where I headed the glass, ceramics, silver, and toy departments. For many years, I've enjoyed a love affair with old objects, golden age Hollywood movies, and previous eras—particularly the art deco period. The past has woven its way into my heart and now into my writing. Since 2007, I've earned my living as a freelance fiction and memoirs editor. I've helped numerous authors pursue their dreams of self-publishing. I realized that dream myself with the publication of Virginia's Ghost, my first novel, and its sequel, The Spirits of South Drive.
