Carolyn Kay Hanson was born and raised in Idaho. After studying Office Administration at the University of Idaho, she married a cowboy, and for the next twenty-five years lived on seven different cattle ranches. She's trained seven of her own horses and also homeschooled her two children. After having lived in Idaho, Montana, California, Texas, Missouri, Virginia, Indiana, New Jersey, and Washington during the course of her lifetime, she's finally settled down near Phoenix and lives happily with her cat, Mr. Kitty. Her other hobbies include knitting, crocheting, and soap-making.
