Looks can be deceiving… Hardheaded Junior Agent Cassidy Dancer has come face to face with the powerful, false prophet of the insidious Palma Christi Cult. Not what she intended. She’s always believed she was every bit as good and twice as tough as most men. Until now. Bound to Lucien Kane’s punishment board in his barn, she’s about to be disciplined. The iron brand is blistering hot. There is no hope in sight. Not this time. He’s no hero… Not Jude Cannon. He’s just an accountant and a desperate father. The only reason he’s inside the cult is to rescue his daughter. He can’t take chances, and he certainly can’t blow his cover to help the woman caught in Lucien’s evil snare. The woman with big, brown eyes brimmed with tears she won’t let fall. The one who needs a white knight on a white horse to ride in and save her. Jude is not that man. Is he?
Author

Growing up in the countryside of Wisconsin, I always wanted to be a writer. I've dabbled in poetry, short stories, and more daydreaming than most. Way back when, I remember long Sunday afternoon drives with my parents where they'd tell us eight kids to, 'Look out the window and see something!' I've been looking out the window ever since . . . In the great Northwest pines, I saw a woman who had nowhere to run find refuge in the arms of a tender warrior seeking his own road to healing. In the hills of Wyoming, I saw a broken man who thought he'd lost everything rediscover the man he was in the eyes of a pretty girl. And in the Dairy State, (yes Wisconsin), I saw two people fall in love and overcome horrific obstacles on their way to happily-ever-after. Life is short. Pick up a good book. Read. Write. Enjoy. Look out the window and see something!
