Cassie is an avid reader and loves many genres including biography, mystery, thriller, and crime. She has always had an affinity for writing and has dreamt of becoming an author. A life event would have that dream become reality. Her works-in-progress are in the fiction genre, but Our Journey has been her adventure in formatting and self-publishing. Our Journey is Cassie’s first published book, a memoir of her caregiving experience when her mother, who was battling ALS, moved in with her family. Cassie lives in Indiana with her husband, two children, and two ridiculously adorable miniature labradoodles. She is also an avid fan of The Office. Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica.
