Cathy Kreutter is a dual citizen of the USA and Uganda. She has worked as a teacher-librarian for 25 years reading aloud wonderful books, and now she can finally read aloud her own! Cathy's passion is to write books in the Ugandan context that are light, humorous, and give a positive image to Africa. Her books are written on two levels: entertaining for the children, and enjoyable for adults with a message for the family to share. Cathy lives in Kampala, Uganda, and works closely with Ugandans illustrators, to encourage the enormous talent in Uganda. She is also promoting literacy in Ugandan schools.
