Author Richard Castle has trouble writing another Nikki Heat adventure and can't keep up with what his fans are waiting for, but one night after just a small writing session that did not go as planned, he receives a strange email from no other than Jameson Rook - his very own character from his novels, telling him about a case that he never finished writing.
