My author bio: One of the unusual facts about my life is that I am extremely lucky (or plucky perhaps) to be here and alive at all. I have five times escaped death since the age of 8. These experiences have not been told to anyone until recently and to friends only. In a later blog or addition to this bio I will enumerate in detail those occurrences. My latest offering is a book of essays that started in 2010 and got updated this year. I ran a science fiction book giveaway a few years ago and had 350 or more interested Goodreads members ask for a copy. Raised in NYC, born in California, and traveled to several other countries, I have acquired the familiarity to write about those people and cultures and include that familiarity in my writings. I love children, pets, especially retrievers and Dalmations. I am a big fan of and play tennis well. Fast cars are a given. I like wooded environments and the inviting winding roadways* that go to or through them and eventually explore them. *The kind of roads that disappear into seemingly nowhere.
