Lily is running for her life. Rye is hired by her father to bring her back, dead or alive. LILY As I wake up, I struggle to figure out where I am. I can't remember how I got home last night or who I was with, but that seems to be normal for me these days. I search through the covers to find my phone, and when I locate it and see the shattered screen, I pause for a second. "You really did it this time, Lily," I mutter to myself. I try to see if the phone will still turn on, but of course, it doesn't. I decided to check the time on the kitchen clock. As I make my way through the hallway, I stumble over an empty wine bottle lying in front of my bedroom door, nearly losing my balance. I reach out to the wall in a futile attempt to stay on my feet. It's not long before I end up on the floor, giving up any desire to stay awake. As my eyes start to shut, I see a dark figure at the end of the hallway. I'm too drunk to care at this point, though. RYE Stepping from the shadows at the end of her hallway I approach her unconscious body thinking to myself you will be so fun to play with once you realize I am here little one.
