Amber Cummins was born in south east Michigan but currently lives in Toledo, Ohio with her husband and stepson. Amber's obsession with books started with her first retail job at a local bookstore. She fell in love with the friendships and companions she made with the customers that shared her dedication to books. Book retail has been a big part of Amber's adult career. She became a huge fan of the fantasy genre when she read books from the Dragonlance series by Tracy Hickman and Margaret Weis. When Amber isn't writing, she enjoys reading, crochet, gardening, canning, and ghost hunting with her husband. You won't catch her writing on Friday night though, because that will always be Family Game Night. Amber holds the family record in wins for Life the board game, Magic the Gathering, and Uno. Family time is very important to her. Writing has been a long life dream of Amber's. One dream she never thought she would realize. With the death of her grandfather, suddenly the true meaning of life came into perspective. No longer would Amber's stories go untold.
