How many times have you thought, “How do people survive horrific events?” Until you have had an opportunity to survive, you wouldn’t believe the scope of your ability. When you’re 2, and your life is full only of opportunity to survive, before you have skills of any sort. Children are supposed to be protected and nurtured. Little girls are supposed to be innocent. Little girls are not supposed to know there are things she won’t survive. A good parent might look into the eyes of this demon and say, what a nice man.
