Celeste has been doing her best to adjust to her new life as a suddenly-activated Hunter of monsters invading her world. She's learned a good deal from her rugged werewolf lover Michael, but can't seem to resist the sexual temptations of the sensual vampire Raphael. Michael and Raphael have been rivals for centuries. Celeste is terrified Michael's finding out about her fling will cause him to try to kill Raphael. She's already lost her best friend Peter in a vampire attack aimed at her. She certainly doesn't want to lose anyone else. After months of recovery following the assassination attempt, Celeste is tired of the squabbling between her two lovers. She's determined to take control of her own life considering everything seems to be out to get her. The trio are forced to make a choice: find some way to live with each other so they can deal with the forces who will stop at nothing to kill Celeste, or lose each other forever.
