Chris is originally from Long Island, New York. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Air Force, where he built a rewarding career spanning over fourteen years. During his service, he held several positions in the Human Resources field that commanded strong communication skills—both written and spoken. Through years of counseling airmen, briefing large audiences, and crafting policy and procedural manuals, he honed the ability to communicate with clarity and purpose. It was in those moments that Chris discovered that writing wasn't just a professional skill—it was something he genuinely enjoyed. Outside of work, writing became a therapeutic outlet—a way to process emotion, reflect on life, and give shape to personal experiences. But it wasn't until after he separated from the Air Force that he truly unlocked the creative side. His debut novel, Unbound, began as a short story evolved into something deeper: a novel grounded in lived experience, driven by emotion and written with the hope of inspiring others. Today, Chris lives in Omaha, Nebraska, with his husband, John, and their spirited dog, Ryder. He's a proud father of three children and grandfather to four, all of whom bring joy and perspective to his life. When he's not writing, he enjoys traveling, movie nights, and quiet moments with family.
