Christie Griffin Authier is the author of The Poopy Pants Dance children's book, which was first published as a board book in 2021 and then as paperback in 2024. She is a writer and editor who has worked at some of the world's most legendary brands while in NYC for 15 years. Prior to writing her first children's book, Christie was on the digital production team at Sesame Workshop (Sesame Street), and before that she crafted branded content at Mattel for Fisher-Price, Barbie, Hot Wheels, and Thomas & Friends. With a degree in Journalism from Indiana University, Christie was also the first-ever dedicated web editor for Cosmopolitan magazine, and she has been a lifestyle journalist for CNN.com, Brides, Fitness, Women's Health, MSN, Yahoo!, and more. She now lives in Newburyport, MA with her husband and their two young children.
