
Christine M. Grote earned a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Dayton, Ohio, in 1979. After working for several years in product development at a major corporation in Cincinnati, she became a full-time homemaker as she raised three sons and a daughter. In 1999, Christine returned to school at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio, earning a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Written Communications and a concentration in Women's Studies. Christine is bereaved of a severely disabled sister who died in 2009; a mother who died in 2013 from cancer and a father who died of Alzheimer's shortly afterwards. They are the subjects of her two memoirs. In her writing, Christine strives to provide testament to the basic intrinsic value of human life, convey authentic human emotion, and celebrate the good in life. Christine lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband Mark and their dog Arthur.
