Christine Tiday found her love of languages in her grandparents' camper in the early 80's. Singing songs in French and learning to count before hitting the Canadian border provided hours of fun for the young traveler whose summer destinations were historical societies scattered coast to coast. Christine loved these trips with her grandmother, Suzanne Hilton, author of non-fiction works. When Christine Tiday later became a Spanish Teacher, she couldn't shake her love of writing and languages. Over the past twelve years, Tiday has written numerous adventure stories for her Spanish students to enjoy and in recent years she has made these available in paperback and on Kindle. Christine's goal is to inspire reading in Spanish even while the student is in the intermediate stage of fluency. As a teacher, she finds that an interesting story can mask hours of practice. Before the student knows it they are gaining proficiency and ready to tackle works intended for native Spanish speakers.
