Von Anfang an gibt es Schwierigkeiten am Nordpol, da Macy, die realistische, praktisch veranlagte Geschäftsinhaberin und Cal, der ewige Optimist und lebensfrohe Kinder-Skilehrer, bei allem unterschiedlicher Meinung sind, von der Liste über die artigen und unartigen Kinder bis zu den Zutaten für die Zuckerplätzchen.
