I was born and raised in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Wanting to escape life in a big city and concentrate more on working to live than living to work, I moved to the Outer Hebrides in the north-west of Scotland in 2004 and I have lived there ever since with my wife and dog. I write post-apocalyptic, sci-fi, dystopian and horror fiction. I’ve released thirty-six books across five different series - Safe Haven, The End of Everything, Relentless, The Burning Tree and Scares in Scotland.
