Ciara Ryan grew up in Dublin, Ireland. The youngest of 4 children, and daughter of a sports journalist, she studied Musicology and Music Technology to masters level in college, dabbled a bit in radio and ended up working as a sub-editor and production journalist for a national newspaper group. After a stint as a reporter, and at the age of 25, she started CR Enterprises which produced the Irish Farmer Calendar. The calendar, which featured 12 months of topless Irish farmers in humorous poses, went down a storm within days of its launch in Ireland. The calendar had a charitable element giving a small donation from sales to the Irish farming charity Bothar. Having grown in popularity, the calendar is now in its 7th year. Ciara’s goal is to marry a farmer and attach a hay trailer to her very own Bentley some day!
